Philosophy of Science – Scientific Evidence reading group starting next Friday

The Philosophy of Science reading group, organized by Saúl Pérez and Valeriano Iranzo, will reprise its activity next Friday, February 22nd, from 10 to 11:30 at the Logic and Philosophy of Science seminar room (714). This semester we will be reading recent papers on scientific evidence (mechanistic evidence, probabilistic evidence, etc.). In the first session we will be discussing the following paper:

Russo, F. and Williamson, J. (2007), “Interpreting causality in the health sciences”. International studies in the Philosophy of Science, 21 (2): 157-170.
