This is a pre-read seminar on Maria Alvarez’s current book in progress. There will be four sessions, each devoted to a selected chapter, with a brief presentation by Maria, a response and an open discussion.

Topics to be discussed: the Power of Agency, the Ontology of Action, Action and the Body, Abilities and Opportunities, Choice and Control, and the Quality of Will, Alternatives, Responsibility and Blameworthiness.
