This is a general reading group that aims to encompass the diverse lines of research involved in the Valencia Philosophy Lab. On the first semester of the academic year 2020-2021, we will discuss Timothy Williamson’s book Doing Philosophy: From Common Curiosity to Logical Reasoning (2018, OUP). In the second semester, we will discuss Kendall Walton’s Mimesis and Make Believe (1990, Harvard Univesity Press).The sessions will take place every two Fridays (alternating with the Valencia Colloquium in Philosophy) from 11:30 to 13:30 via Blackboard Collaborate.
